“ my medium engineer sub on wheat was very good, with a fair amount of meat and fresh veggies on fresh bread. And canada appear to be the same, so our list below is for north america as a whole. The “veggie” sub (remove/substitute cheese & mayo) unfortunately the “wheat” bread at firehouse subs contains honey, so it’s not 100% vegan.
As long as they have the schar gluten free bread and you can work through the cross contamination concern, firehouse subs meets the needs of our gluten free lifestyle.
Their gluten free bread is awesome. I could tell they spent lots of time and money on it. The restaurant looks very nice, nice decorations, lots of detail. If you have a hardcore allergy i'd proceed with caution since this isn't a dedicated gluten free sandwich place.
