Local Tracks Open To The Public. It opened in 1962 with a 2.4 miles long track and 15 turns, but so far, it has had a number of refurbishments. Lompoc high's new track and field now open to the public.
If you're looking for an indoor track, hopkins high school has one that is open to the public after 6pm i think it is. Does anyone know of any rubber running tracks that are open to the public inthe long beach area? Not too big of a deal but it can feel weird the first time you run on it)
The community center is open from 5:30 a.m.
The closest one i know if is at liberty park in cerritos. I play soccer there on sunday night's in the gym sine i think the high school gym is also part of the city parks and rec. And 3 to 5 p.m. Are considered open to the public outside of school hours if they are not locked up or have.
